Reed Burnam
Reed Burnam is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter and solo artist originally from Houston, Texas. After cutting his musical teeth in the Houston noise-rock scene of the 1990's, Reed spent nearly 25 years in Austin playing in numerous bands across a spectrum of genres (Lightning Over Water, Khali Haat, The Ron Titter Band, Ouiness, Many Birthdays, Bamako Airlines, etc), and sitting in with local stalwarts such as Daniel Johnston and Ralph White. In late 2024, he relocated to Tulsa, OK, to escape the neo-Austin suburban techbro concrete condo traffic hellscape.
In addition to his band output over the years, to date, Reed has recorded and released over 20 solo albums since the year 2000, with several releases on the Ten Dollar Recording Company label. His full-length TDRCo debut was 2017's Another Switchback, with the single "Collected Summer" following later that year. 2020 saw the release of his second album for the label (Universal Axis), and a new single "Funeral Selfie" arrived in April 2021. Reed is currently working on a glut of unfinished material, with a new TDRCo full-length slated to be released by later 2025.
